SIM IC is very important in cell phone because mostly cell phone has IC giving Continuity link to sim terminals, then sim can work properly.

In electronics it usually IC stands for Integrated circuit

Nokia Sim IC:

If this IC damaged then mobile showing INSERT SIM, Insert Sim Card, No Sim, Sim Rejected etc.

After Resold, Change IC or make a simple wire jumper on it then sim will work properly and we can make a call all over the networks.

SIM Jacket is the source of collect the data from SIM card and sent to programing IC for take action on it, sim jacket terminals toch the pads of sim card and get the information from it who is required for cell phone CDMA sets, Ipads, Tablets, etc. All devices who can support the sim they have sim jacket in it for insert sim card. How to work sim in any device, every sim has 6 terminal as like last picture over, 4 terminal has continuity from any type of IC and 5th terminal is Empty or not appear and 6th and last terminal is a ground terminal, when all terminals touch the sim card pads then make a connectivity between both and then device can get data from sim card.(IRFAN WAZIR)

Why Devices Showing Insert Sim Card because device has a sim jacket, chek the sim jacket that perhaps any terminal damaged, if jacket damaged then replace the sim jacket, if jacket not damaged the check sim jacket terminals with multimeter, if you can't use multimeter then you can't chek the continuity of sim jacket terminals, please learn first multimeter use, then after checking of continuity and we found that two terminals are has no continuity in them, the check the device links coming from, if device has an IC to provide links to programing chip, almost IC damaged, if Sim IC damaged then resold or change Sim IC, if you not have other sim IC then make Jumper as like below picture:

Links Between Sim Jacket and Sim IC

According to Sim jacket it has 6 terminals, all terminals are important, 5 terminal has continuity and 1 terminal in mobiles has no continuity it is empty supporter for 5th terminal as like picture, if you have changed IC but continuity not found in terminals or terminal so check links between sim jacket terminals and sim IC, because if between jacket and IC any one link is damage then Sim can't work properly, so our first work to check continuity between them, multimeter is a better tool for source of chek the continuity between them, now we checking with multimeter and we found a link breakage in any point then we will make jumper on break link, and solve our problem who is very need full to use sim in device and enjoy it.

In Case of No Sim IC mostly China and new trend of disposable mobile phone has no sim ic, the what we can do for sim solution, please watch this image it has no sim ic but it has some sim resisters who are giving link to UEM or Programing IC and making connectivity between among them, if sim jacket damaged so change sim jacket, but there is no sim jacket damage so check now continuity sim jacket terminals and resisters, if any resister damaged you can change resister easily if you not have resister then make a jumper both points, so now you cheked all resisters that one you repaired and other are fine so sim jacket terminal found a continuity better, if after repairing the resisters any point has no continuity then repair the link who is damage and be a successful repairing technician.

Open Circuit

In this Circuit we required same items, take battery and sold the both wires with both terminals of battery as like that showing in image then one wire of +Positive terminal sold to bulb's +Positive point, and don't sold other -Negative terminal of battery with bulb, as like Open Circuit.

Close Circuit

After the Open Circuit you can make a Close Circuit by the sold other wire of battery's -Negative terminal to bulb's -negative point after this soldering bulb light be on and its called  Close or Complete Circuit.

The advantage of digital Multimeters as shown against is that they are self-protected and are not likely to "grilling" by mishandling of you (especially poor selection of ranges).

Guide positions rotary switch for the device presented 

Unless indicated otherwise: black cord must be connected to the COM jack and the red test lead to V AΩ

(1) AC voltmeter (symbol V). Two ranges are present on this device:

- 200: to measure voltages from 0 to 199 Volts
- 500: to measure voltages from 0 to 499 Volts
The display is in Volts.

(2) DC voltmeter (symbol V =). With the following ranges:

- 200m: to measure voltages from 0 to 1.99 mV (view expressed in mili volts)
- 2: to measure voltages from 0 to 1.99 V (display in volts)
- 20 to measure voltages from 0 to 19.9 V (display in volts)
- Etc.

(3) Ammeter for direct current (symbol = A).

- 3 ranges of low values ​​(2mA, 20mA and 200mA) are proposed for the measurement of DC currents is mainly used in electronics.

Ammeter for alternating current (symbol A).

- A single value range is proposed for this low-end device: 10A.

For home use all or nothing ("grilled" or "no toast") it is better to choose the positions 200Ω or 2 kΩ, but no more.
